Looks like RAM will drop one version of the 426 into its pickup to compete with GM 6.6.
CLE 646 + some goofy German word. New 4.0TT FPC V8, 637hp. Only 30 being made. Based on current CLE53 and upcoming CLE63. Wider bodywork, improved suspension, a few other things. No price yet.
Cool car, but body changes should have been designed and integrated better. Should have just been called the CLE63 Black Series. Power is unimpressive, current GT63 Pro uses the previous CPC version of this motor and makes 603hp. Old GT Black Series made 720hp. Changes don't go far enough to justify the crazy low production number and wonky name. Being this limited, it should've had GTD level of wholesale changes. Will get smoked by the old "regular production" AMG GT Black Series.
Now I am very excited for the upcoming CLE63. The CLE53 is one of the best-looking cars available today IMO, and adding a V8 is just more of a good thing.

VW is supposedly shopping Porsche to the Chycoms.
Volkswagen is said to have called for another 4,000 layoffs at Porsche.
The EU ICE ban is going to bankrupt all the Euro automakers.
Politics will force them to ride it down to zero with the possible exception of Stellantis coming to the USA. The CHYCOMS will pick up the names they like for pennies on the dollar.
The mongoose is the natural predator of the scorpion ... which just so happens to be the internal code-name used by one Ford Motor Company for the 6.7-liter turbodiesel V-8 found under the hood of its F-Series Super Duty pickups.

Don't really care about the power at this point. They already make much more than what they could ever possibly need. Any sort of breakthrough or regulatory relief regarding the emissions systems is what I want to know. Just had the emissions system go out on a F450 work truck at 170K. Looking at $12K to repair!!!!

So "just" matching current HO on torque? Kind of lame with that much more displacement.
The displacement was more about inbound emissions when it was being developed. Trump short circuited the emissions part some.
- Unifor’s existing labor deal with Stellantis ends on September 20.
- Stellantis has signed an MoU to sell the Brampton site to a defense firm.
- The defense company says it will prioritize hiring former Stellantis employees.
