Interest: How much is a Carbon Fiber 98 Cobra hood worth?

There's a vendor who's trying to get a carbon fiber hood produced.

It will be a Full Carbon Fiber piece (I believe) and molded to duplicate a 98 Cobra hood.

What should a product like this sell for and how many people would buy one at the right price?

I believe they need 10 orders to make it happen.

I'm not a vendor nor do I have any way to manufacturer a hood of this type. I'm only posting this to help get this moving so I can get one.

what would be the advantage of carbon fiber over stock? Obviously there would be weight savings, but would it be enough to make it worthwhile? I suppose any weight shaved off the nose helps the f/r balance of the car....

I would think you could shed 20-30lbs off the nose of the car, anything to shed weight off these slugs. What the yugo weight with trailer hitch and driver in it?
