BE CAREFULL!

I think you may have taking too much material around the runner entrance. If you get rid of the turn you will hurt the air velocity and cause turbulece in the entrance of the runner!

Of the entire port work that is the MOST important area. You want to extend that area NOT reduce the turn.

Look at how I do it:

Remember all Ported Intakes ARE NOT created equal!!!

Some make more power than others and there is a reason behind it.

i was afraid i did take too much. its ok its a spare intake. (pre-fix actually) i just want to see how much i can get by hogging it out. im probably gonna get it dynoed on jan. 13. at the lethal perf. f-body day

That is all any of us can do with our cars. Practice and if it doesn't work out you can always re-sell the intake a use the money to buy another one. That is what I have been doing.
