It's about 12lbs lighter.
SFI approved- it dampens better
10% overdriven will spin the SC faster- approx 3-4 lbs of boost increase
30-40 hp depending on other mods.

Any improvement over 08 lower? I've heard there is no reason to get one if you have an 08 and up.

Please allow me to clarify one point. The IW damper weighs around 14 pounds. The 2007 OEM damper weighs 26 pounds. The 2008 OEM damper weighs in around 10 pounds.

That's the whole point of using the IW - the 10% overdrive produces 3-4 additional pounds of boost, as stated above. The 2008 balancer is the same diameter as the 2007 balancer.

I purchased an IW 10% OD balancer from Dan, and am very happy with the increased torque! Don't know what the hp increase is, but you can feel it in the seat of your pants!! It's also a beautiful piece...
