I haven't been on here since 2012 but hope to participate in the forums... still own my 2003 Red Lightning bought new and has 82,000 miles, still enjoying it...

Welcome back. Cool that you still own your '03 Lightning. Looks great, and the chrome wheels go well with the Bright Red paint.

always thought ford missed with the 18" wheels and 45 series tire.

20" repros?
You have to remember, back then, there were not any 20" performance tires. I'm sure the 18 Goodyear F1 were developed for the Lightning.

I would love to have another L, but the current prices, and lack of body parts keeps me away.

I understand what you're saying but you're kinda making my point; if that size of the eagle f1s were developed just for the lightning, why not make them 20/35 in the first place?

Family is original owner of a 2002 with over 350k mi on her; doing everything I can to keep it running and in the family.
