Nicky was possibly the greatest mind of the 19th AND the 20th centuries.

He deserves to be remembered properly.

But I do have a question about donating. What happens to the money if the donations only reach 300K and the property goes to the other interested party.
Do we get our money back?
And if not who keeps the dough?

But i just saw that the donation level has already reached $911,521.
So nevermind.

Doesn't his estate have enough money to support this? Why does anyone need to donate money to the cause of a dead millionaire?

I r confused

He died in almost total poverty.
He was cheated out of all his patents during his lifetime.
He had no heirs.
He died while taking care of injured pigeons in his hotel room.
He was brilliant, but incredibly strange.

wow, i'll definitely be donating to this! i've been fascinated by his work for as long as i can remember, he was a truly impressive human being. it's depressing that someone like him can basically get screwed over throughout his life when he was making such ground breaking achievements. and it's really unbelievable that there isn't already a tesla museum, the man did so much!

if "indiegogo" is anything like kickstarter, then all donations are held in escrow until either the goal is reached or the deadline is up.
