Manufacturers could control this if they want to, but they choose to stick their heads in the sand and yet wonder why their great products don't meet sales objectives. Extremely short sighted and ignorant. But I don't see it changing anytime soon, but unfortunately only getting worse because of absolute greed on the dealers side the majority of the time. Sell more at MSRP, put units in operation, make clients happy and at least at the end of the day save cool cars. Because 30K plus ADM's destroy cool cars. [QUOTE="Kapy, post: 16030155, member: 144046"] Bottom line is if the manufacturers would put more teeth into their sales and service agreements with dealers that would solve a whole lot of problems. Kudos to Dodge for trying with the Demon. But still their weak threat had no affect. ADM's cause destruction of cool products and nothing but short term profits for dealers. This is why Ford didn't come close to selling as many GT350's let alone R's that they planned because the dealer's f'd it up for them. Same reason Z06 and current ZR1 will be a huge loss because of the same shenanigans. Go on Autotrader and find current ZR1's for 150+++ when it is a 130KMSRP car., Joke. Zora is going to be their saviour? Yeah right. Chevy just eliminated nearly every current and future corvette buyer with this BS.
