Idle stuck around 2k. Any ideas??

Quick update. Did a smoke test, 2 of the 3 IACs I’ve purchased are showing leaks. Swapped it out with a BWD. No leaks after that. Gonna reset the computer and see how things go. If that doesn’t work, I’m gonna change out the temp control sensors.

Side note. Are the driver and passenger sides sensors on the cross over the same part #? I know one connects to the fan and one to the dash. Just didn’t know if they were different or not

Incase anyone ever searches for this. There was a vacuum leak caused by a cheap IAC, BWD IAC worked fine. Duralast, advanced auto brand, and junkyard find were all crap

High idle was actually caused by the ECT sensor.

Thanks for the follow up on this issue. Too many threads discuss the problem at length without a final post stating what actually worked.
