I'm in the middle of a transmission swap in my 01 cobra and it appears that the original transmission might not have ever been removed. I didn't plan to change the clutch since it works perfectly fine but the car has right at 200k miles. Hard to believe it would be the original clutch but the car is 100% stock so I guess it could be. The pressure plate has 361953 stamped on it. Here's a picture.

If you are in that far remove it and inspect the clutch disk, flywheel and pressure plate.

I got 187k on my audi clutch. I think a clutch can go that long if babied.

I have had other clutches go over 150k.

I had to change out my oem at 48k because of the throwout bearing, then again at 100k+ probably because the mechanic who installed it tore it up before handing the car back over to me.

You being the only driver on a new clutch will help the next one last...or not.

I ended up leaving it as it was and so far so good. The throw out bearing was toast but the rest looked good.
