The kicker is the miles I drive...80 a day round trip for work.Thats why I'm trying to find something good on gas.
Guys, I know 1500-2,000 isn't much but I'm hoping to find something....at least for one winter.
I've seen some incredible miles rung up on Ford Tempos but those damn tie-rods...they go bad, nasty repair..
wals9331 said:Gas mileage huh? Hmmm....how about a newer escort then? 97+. I have close experiences with 4 different ones and they all still run just fine. High miles and all (120k+)
Damn, wish you were closer, that sounds like what Im looking for :beer:bnglcat said:I have a 1996 explorer 4x4, 2 door, 5 speed manual that I am looking sell. It has 25k original miles on it. New tires. About to have new brakes. Runs great. It was my beater back in NY before I move down to Baton Rouge. It has shift on the fly 4x4 as well. It is a real no frills truck, manual windows/locks. AM/FM radio, but I could throw in a Mach 460 if you want to swap that out. I am looking for about $2500 for it.
