Fauck guys, vics, marquis, and towncars can be had for 1500 EASILY!

Right you are and with proper tires they go just fine in the snow.

The kicker is the miles I drive...80 a day round trip for work.Thats why I'm trying to find something good on gas.

Guys, I know 1500-2,000 isn't much but I'm hoping to find something....at least for one winter.

I've seen some incredible miles rung up on Ford Tempos but those damn tie-rods...they go bad, nasty repair..

Gas mileage huh? Hmmm....how about a newer escort then? 97+. I have close experiences with 4 different ones and they all still run just fine. High miles and all (120k+)

The only thing with those is the blown head gaskets.Did Ford ever finally get that right?I do know they can be had for cheap.

I have my 1988 Olds Cutlass for sale

Black with grey interior, 57K miles, PW, PL, PS, Moonroof, AC, and CD player. $2000K, in the last year I've replaced the Alt./battery, tie-rods/balljoints, and had to replace the PROM to pass emmisions.

I have a 1996 explorer 4x4, 2 door, 5 speed manual that I am looking sell. It has 25k original miles on it. New tires. About to have new brakes. Runs great. It was my beater back in NY before I move down to Baton Rouge. It has shift on the fly 4x4 as well. It is a real no frills truck, manual windows/locks. AM/FM radio, but I could throw in a Mach 460 if you want to swap that out. I am looking for about $2500 for it.
