I feel my Bassani cat back system tips stick out a bit too far. I wish they were a bit more flush? Is this normal on the Bassini? Anything I can do besides cutting the end of the tips. I can check to see if the intermediate pieces are all the way in to bring the toip back a little bit.
It doesnt look bad but I just prefer it more flush.
Ill try to get a pic.

Without a pic hard to say--my definition of too far may be way different than yours.

OK here are some pics. Let me know if you feel it sticks out too far as well or do you think this is normal?

They do stick out a bit long for my taste but they should be adjustable. Just loosen the small clamp that tightens the tip to the tailpipe and slide them forward as desired. It also looks like the tips are also clocked off a bit. Meaning, the driver side needs to be clocked to the left a bit and the passenger side to the right a bit. The longest part of of the tip should be at the top but I guess that's a matter of personal preference.

Like they said above there should be a clamp on the tip itself that you can loosen and slide the tip farther in but some were welded on. If so you will have to cut or shorten the exhaust piping itself so the tips dont stick out as far.

I know when i installed my 3" bassani i had to cut a small piece off of each exhaust pipe to get everything to fit just right.

get it on a lift, loosen all clamps and wiggle it in until you get it where you like it.

That's how the Bassani tips are supposed to be. When it's this way, it says Bassani Xhaust on top of the tip and it's flush with the bumper cover when you look at it from above.

Yeah, I get that. I've owned two Bassani kits in the past. It just looked to me like the tips were set wrong. Must be the angle of the photo.

Oh ok. Yeah with those tips it's usually hard to tell unless you see them in person or it's a picture from straight behind the car.
