[QUOTE="PhantomX, post: 16132057, member: 105905"] Well after a bit of hiatus and working in Australia for almost 2 years I'm back home and finally (since 2015) back into a Mustang... Again... I want to say this is my 6th or 7th now the last one being a 2015 black/black performance. Before that some might remember my 2014 or maybe the 2011 or way back to my or Terminator. I certainly see some of you guys from way back in the day still floating around here (and still up to their antics). I had been on the hunt for a new ride for a few weeks. As much as i love my Expedition I was really craving having a V8 again. So I went out, as we all do, and test drove a bunch of cars. I set the price range at >$100k. Test drove the Trackhawk - Stupid power in an SUV for sure and fun but it just didn't feel like a $100k vehicle. Hellcat - Again crazy power but it's big and the interior is just "meh" not to mention the wide body is about $77k plus, again didn't feel worth it for over $80k OTD. Z06 - This was what i thought I was for sure going to get, then I drove it. It's fast no doubt but the rest of it kinda was a bummer. No storage, only 2 seats, horrid infotainment system, super hard to get in and out of, did i mention no storage? The clutch was really heavy as is the shifter. As a daily, eh wasn't feeling it. Mercedes GLC 63 AMG S - This almost got the nod, still not sure why I didn't get it, except it was over $100k when all done up so that was pushing it. But wow it's really nice. I popped into the Ford dealer since I really love the GT and it's something i'm super familiar with. I was looking for a nice Premium with the digital dash but almost nobody in the area carries any, I found one, it was white and was kinda not feeling white. They started with a $5k market adjustment, then came down to MSRP then came down again to $2k under MSRP. That sealed the deal. Now to make room in the garage between the Slingshot and 6 other bikes I'm freak'n out of space!
