I had a trunk mount ice tank with a rule pump. After my last outing at the track it just wasn’t up to snuff. I decided to replace the pump and lines. Now I have 1” lines and a emp pump. The only restriction I will have at the lower intake bc I don’t have 1” fittings there.

Anyway here’s some pics I’ll get some more tomorrow after I wire it up and post a video of before and after flow.

And yes that giant hole will be closed off when I finish everything up.

I will say running 1” lines is not fun and finding room is even more not fun.

I ran a 8g wire off the battery to this terminal to power the pump. Hooked up a inline switch off the trigger wire from the stock pump harness. No need to waste ice in the staging lane plus didn’t want the pump running full time. Everything is working amazingly

Before flow with the rule 2k in tank 3/4” lines

After with Stewart emp pump. 1” Feed and return I had to reduce it to 3/4” for the hx. Maybe one day I’ll get the full 1” lines

That's a hell of a difference in flow. I've read that the Rule's fall off a cliff in terms flow rates when restrictions within the system are encountered, and the EMP is one of the better pumps not impacted by restrictions (pressure) in a system. Are you using the larger diameter tubes at the intercooler or stock?

Feed line and the return are 16an using a 12an to tie into the stock stuff both are setup the same way. I used the stock pre bent line and two 12an fitting to connect the second pic

That's one thing I want to do to my return line for the intercooler is to insulate it. Is that a heat resistant wrap/sleeve you're using?

It is. Thermo tec. I wanted to do both side but I ordered the wrong size so waiting for the new one to show up. I got 3’ lengths just for under the hood. If I put the exhaust back on I’ll get some for there too
