Support for the CobraJet has been added.
No car "needs" a flex fuel sensor to run E85. You run the car on the fuel for which it is tuned. The 5.0 has the added benefit of dual onboard wideband 02 sensors but aside from that, the ability to run E85 is no different from any other car.

I guess I should of clarified I'm talking about so you can run both 91 and E85 without swapping tunes. Like on my car I needed a flex fuel sensor setup so I can switch between 91 and E85 without changing my tune
Then your car would not be optimized for either fuel, but would rather be running a more conservative tune, essentially a stock like tune.
I don't know about that considering people gain from 50-100whp depending on setups on boosted LS cars that add flex fuel E85 setups to be able to switch from their existing 91 tune to E85 tune. The tune adjusts for the amount of ethanol

exactly, unless your tune will change the timing i.e. add more 2-4 degrees of wot timing with e85 and then taper that back out down to e10, and unless it will change the lambda set point i.e run a bit leaner when you have e85 vs e10 then its really just a dual fuel car w/o any performance benefit except knock protection with e85.
when flex fuel adjusts it changes the fuel stoich not the lambda set point.. not the timing.
