Honestly, your pictures with your car on the lift were what really motivated me to go all out on this. Needless to say but your car is bad ass...

I'm currently working on mine right now. I can't seem to get rid of the line at the bend. I've used a 2" 120 grit flap wheel (only thing I can find locally) but I can't get all of the lines out. Should I be more aggressive and sand until the line are completely out? I just don't want to ruin it so I'm going slowly. After sanding with the wheel, I go with 100, 320, 400, 600, 1000, 1500, and 2000. It looks great with the exception of the lines. This thing is driving me crazy....please help!

^^^That's why I started with 40, then 80 on my DA sander on the bad spots, but be careful.

I went the lazy route, and had my Borla kit polished by a shop nearby.

The only problem is the Borla tips are CHROME, so when he tried polishing the rips, he burned through the chrome.:nonono:

So I have a question, is there any way to remove the chrome without cutting the tips off? That way I can polish them. Otherwise, I'm thinking of cutting them off and installing new tips (Not preferred)

Any one have advise for cleaning up Magnaflow tips? On American muscle they say they are polished stainless. I don't want to screw them up

I just had to clean and polish mine again. I used 0000 steel wool and mothers metal polish. They look new

Since my car has been down for close to two years for many upgrades and whatnot my catback I polished awhile looked like shit cause of the junk stock leaky rear end cover. I kept fighting myself on polishing it again cause frankly I didn't want to go through it again. Well I said F it and went through the whole process again. I got one side done.
