How To: Keep From Throwing A Check Engine Light With Imrc Deletes.

Hey guys, I know that you can just put the deletes on but Since the ECU doesn't detect any Drag ( opening the butterflies) it will throw an annoying code.

Here are some pics of an easy way to keep a code from being thrown.

Go to NAPA or the nearest Hardware store to you and get a 2-3" Throttle return spring. You can keep your IMRC controller bolted up and do it just like in these pics. It will stay in place trust me, This exact setup worked on my car for the last 15,000 miles.

Cheap and easy way to get rid of that troublesome CEL

This "Tricks" the Computer.

If you have any questions on doing this, just PM me.

Good Luck

This is just the poor mans way, because i didn't have a tune yet. Its good if you need to prevent the code w/o a tune.
