How to get rid of the BUS size steering wheel?

I've come to realize that my number 1 gripe about the interior is the steering wheel. Does no one else think it is huge?! I would hate to lose the airbag since I drive on the street. Also, is there anyway to change the ratio to a tighter one? A smaller wheel would mean even a higher steering ratio correct? Anyone running a 302 Race steering rack?

Only thing I could find is this which is still the same size.

LOL! Yes, I find the steering wheel to be a bit oversized. Maybe a 2015 version could be made to fit?

Subscribing!

I too have thought of this. I would like a version that is flat top and bottom but with air bag and electronics.

Searched for a while and couldn't find one.

There is money to be made for steering wheels that will retain the airbag/electronics but smaller with flat bottom. I'd be all over that.

^^ Looks good. No air bag though, so I'm out.

^ +1. I wonder if you could take the oval of the ford racing and integrate that to the OEM wheel to retain airbag and controls.

Looking on the Nexus motors site, the guy does make some incredible steering wheels but wow, they COST too. Most are 1500ish but why this one is 2200 I dont know.

That top one is beautiful bus sized or not haha They happen to be 15 min away from me. If it wasn't for the airbag there would be a lot of options. I might talk to a custom installer to see if there is anything he can do.

I wonder if you can just take a stock one chop it up and reweld? I doubt it would be that easy though.

1500+ for a ****ing steering wheel?! get the **** out of here.

I'd rather spend that money on just about anything else.
