After getting a quote for 600 bucks to have the front bumper painted and thinking "yea no i dont want to get butt raped" i decided to do the next best thing to make myself feel better and to start my leave (vacation) off right. I took my fog lights off the truck to remove the rock chips. this is how i did it.

1. removed the fogs. all you need is a pair of pliers or man hands to do this.
2. cleaned residual dirt off.
3. wet sanded with 3M 800 grit sand paper until all the chips were gone
4. wet sanded with 3M 1000 grit sand paper to help knock down the 800grit scratches
5. wet sanded with 3M 2000 grit sand paper until i felt that i got it as smooth as it was gonna get with 2000.
5 applied meguires plastX with a wax applicator making sure to give it hell and rub it in hard core. I did this 4 times over to get the 2000 grit scratches out
5. finished off the plastX with a terry cloth
6 reinstalled and enjoyed the fruits of my labor **** yea with a beer

supplies needed: 3M wet 800,1000 and 2000 sand paper. way applicator, terry cloth, meguires plastX, water and some beer (took me about 4)
