how much timing for 03 cobra

I guess every car is different, i know i would loose 3 to 4 mph and around 2 tenths in the 1/4 dropping down to 20 deg from 23. Proof for me is at the track not on the dyno. Who says 23 deg is on the edge anyways? Lots of people have been running that for years. Posi was even recommending that amount of timing with his ports at one point in time.


My Vert, My port, welded plenum, ported TB, JLT CAI, Mid lenths, Cut outs, STOCK gt rearend, control arms ect, Stock in the front but lowering springs and 18's, full interior minus passenger seat Ran 11.2 @ 20 degree's upped it too 23 and it ran 11.0 lol so I tend to agree with the 23 Degrees, 1 things for sure the right timming is needed in these cars for maximum power. Im running My new M122 @ 16 degree's until I have time to tune it and I sware its making 100 horse less then the M112 lol
