Bingo! Funny you should ask this..... Some people have already been down the "GT500" road. Even though the 2013/14 GT500 is the best ever built, they still have handicaps. The GT500 is "heavy" to say the least, very nose heavy. They are not great at dig racing, and are forced to make big power to compensate for the added weight. To race cars that are lighter, you better have 80-100 rwhp advantage, or you are toast. Trust me, I've raced many modded S197 GT's with my GT500 that were much lower on power. Even though I won, it was due to the power advantage, while the GT was right there scratching at my back. This time, it's a lighter engine that has already been proven to win in the horsepower vs. weight war. The Coyote is a champion that isn't living in the shadow of the older (larger brother), the Condor and Trinity. A built/forced induction Coyote is lighter and just as powerful as the GT500 (Condor/Trinity) brother. When it comes to car meets, people quickly glance at the common GT500, while rushing to drool over a twin turbo Coyote.
