How many of you guys run 10 plus inch wide rims in the rear?

Just take the quad shock out like every one does.
Keep it if humanly possible. Flip em if you can.
I have AFS 03/04 Cobra 10.5 rims on mine with 305's and haven't had any issues so far.
Im running a 10.5 wheel with a 315 tire. Im a little lower on Eibach sportline and 1/4" spacers. I rub a tiny bit over really big bumps that sneak up on me. Doesn't happen often though

10.5" FR500 reps, 315x17, H&R Supersports, no quad shocks, MM HD lower control arms, J&M uppers. No rub, no wheel hop....
10.5" Cobra R's with 315/35-17 Hoosier drag radials. I use a small MM spacer, 3" ARP studs, MM torque arm/springs, panhard bar, adj. lower control arms, adj. anti-roll bar, and no quad shocks. Fenders are rolled. No rubbing.

When I owned 1995 Cobra R #108 I installed a 10.5" Cobra R wheel on the rear with a 285 tire to keep the original look of the 95R, but add a little bit of rubber on the rear.
Shown below are reproduction 1995 Cobra R wheels front and rear, 9" front and 10.5" rear. At a glance, you would never notice the upsize in rear tire width from 255 to 285.
My goal was to keep it looking "as it came from Ford", but also add a little more rim width and tire rubber on the rear.........
Original 95R 17X9" wheel with original 255 BFG Comp. T/A........
Aftermarket 95R 17X10.5" wheel and 285 BFG tire.....

underrated color imho, always loved that one.
I'm currently running 9 inch wide rims, but 285/35/18's up front, which makes for about 11 inches of width.
Because of stupid covid, couldn't find any normal sized Nitto's to match my DR's so I went with what they had. It works, looks a little off, but it works and doesn't rub.
ive run 275s up front on 9 or 9.5s for a while. 285s should have a bit of bulge there.
I have run 295s too but that was on 17s.
Plan to run 275s again but up the rim width a good amount to take advantage of the full tire

You running springs or coils? And what year is your car?
I plan on running 10.5s up front. I know they fit new edges without fender flares. I may need them(flares) on the 96 but may get away with cranking out the negative camber for a bit to tuck the tops before i get flares. It is also the perfect size for 275s to maximize the contact patch, granted that varies slightly tire to tire.

Depending on what your going for I am sure your setup will keep working, so you dont have to go through the headache of my route lol
With how little I usually drive the car, they'll probably crack and dry rot on me before the tread gets too low. 18k on it now, barely put 800 miles on it since I bought it in 19. Love black when it's clean but man it's a PITA to keep it clean, plus I don't usually like driving it anywhere I can't keep a constant eye on it.
