How long does it take to paint our hood? Should it be more than 2 days?

    I'm itchin' to get my hood fixed...I drop it off next Monday (July 26th)....when should I expect it back.

    For anyone that has had thier hood repainted under warranty...how did it turn out?

    I ordered a Cobra gille insert to replace the pony...so they are going to put that on too.

    Prep work, painting, clearing, sanding/buffing, depending on the shop probably 2-3 days best.

    I dropped mine off on a Friday and had it back a week from the following Monday. It took a while, but turned out great.

    Getting custom flames on my terminator and the guy at the paint shop says he wants it to cure for 3 days, that or he is going to drive the shit out of it...LOL.

    I wonder how long it will take for a stock paint job. The dealer is repairing the crack in the paint that they put in ever so nicely! I HATE leaving my car ANYWHERE where I'm not!

    I had it done, it took 3 days. Underside was repainted in one day.
