How do I private message

Just click on the Member Name under his avatar (not yours, but the person you want to private message). Then click on Start A Conversation. The add your Conversation/Message title and then the Message. That's it!

My mistake was in assuming a "conversation" was not private and could be seen by all on my profile and a "private message" was a separate feature.

As always, thanks for the help in all things Cobra, and some that are not.

if you go directly to someone's profile page and type into that box, that would be public for everyone to see. As Bob described is a private message.

As always, thanks for the help in all things Cobra, and some that are not.

Some of the nomenclature changed when we switched software years back. The PM was a casualty of the renaming convention.

Glad you're square on what to do. I remember back when the change was made I also wasn't sure how to do a PM.

I have not been on the site for awhile and have not posted much I assume you need min number of posts start a convo?

Just looked it up and it looks like you need 10 posts to start a convo, I guess this gets me 1 closer :)
