This is in the Houston area, I have a 4R out of my 99 GT, it had right around 100 k on it when I pulled it out, its completely stock other than the Jmod but it shifted hard and quickly, the shift schedule in the tune Darrin did really took advantage of the Jmod. It's in really good shape and I've had no problems at all with it. It comes with a wiring harness from a 99GT as well as the dipstick and tube from the same vehicle. --$200 you pick it up I have a PI stallion triple plate converter which was originally supposed to be 4k but only went to 3600 so I had Circle D here in Houston reline the clutch plates with the stronger high carbon linings, and restall it to the full 4k, it worked great launching with my 2V motor on 100 shot in my GT. Much better 60 foots than prior to the restall, I lost .2 off my 60 foot with the restall alone. I used this converter for about 5000 miles, about 1000 after the restall, 98% street driving, with about 30 hard launches at the track. It performs flawlessly and can handle whatever you want to throw at it powerwise, you'll break the transmission before you damage this converter. This works in my 4R and held lockup at full throttle in every gear, I just locked out overdrive to make sure i didn't shift into od under power and damage my stub shaft or od band. I was making 350ish at the wheels with the 100 shot for half of those 30 passes, the rest of the time mostly stock 2V NA motor, so this converter hasn't begun to be stressed, it's like new. It doesn't rattle at all like some people have claimed from the multiple clutch plate converters, at least the ones with round engagement lugs, mine makes nary a peep. --$750 + shipping ( I paid $800 originally and $430 for the restall/reline. Since I have stickers indicating the build date from circle d you can inquire about a free restall or perhaps discounted, they do the best work in Houston) I have a SFI rated 6 bolt flexplate for this from my 4.6 2V motor. It works with any mod motor with a 6 bolt crank. --$50 + shipping Give me a call if you're interested. Jad Mashni 936-444-9047 Pictures to come shortly
