If you're wondering which truck to go with, well, neither are fast, but the 5.4 is decent compared to the under-powered 4.6 which struggles to get the truck moving.

+1...I bought my son a 2005 F150 with the 4.6...it runs OK but it lacks grunt when pulling anything heavier than a lawn mower...but other than that he absolutly loves the truck.

i agree, it handled well and rode awesome, but at WOT it doesnt fuggin move, and when u rip it back a gear (auto) into 2nd the truck just shuts off....and on top of that it took like a half hour to hit the 102 limiter
