[QUOTE="Gr8fulmtnbiker, post: 15866379, member: 163992"] put it this way- nobody stays on top for very long anymore. there is always something faster coming along...i happen to think that cars are like computers and cell phones nowadays- someone comes out with something faster and lighter and better screen and more memory blah blah blah then before you know it someone one ups them, then someone else does, and so on and so on. competition guarantees ongoing and continual changes and sometimes improvements (improvements can be debatable). like has been said on this and many other forums, there will come a time where cars will only have so much hp/tq coming off the assembly line, then other things will have to change like weight, technology, etc. in order to achieve any 'improvements.' With the ability to mod just about anything worth modding nowadays, I will only buy something because I love the way it looks- if I want more power or better traction or whatever it may be then I will make appropriate changes. i am still shocked at how many people in online forums and discussions are dying to have one yet nobody knows what it even looks like yet. obviously there are always those who feel they have to have the 'latest and greatest' no matter what.
