Wonder why SVT/Ford didn't put a light under the hood for looking at the engine compartment at night? First cobra for me. Is this a cobra thing? Just curious. Thank you.:??:

$$$$$ and Jac "****head" Nasser. Since the intro of the new F150's in 97, they dropped the nice remote oil filter setup, chopped off half of the steel in the front bumper, on and on.. Same for the Mustang. Hell, they even ditched the shut offs on the center vents this year.
I wish they would have taken another 4 to 500 lbs out and put a hood light in

Guess Ford thought we'd never need to be under there at night fixing things??
Or showing off at a night time show
So the next logical "hood mod" would be some nice under-hood strip lights, color-keyed to the car, and controlled by either a level switch or on/off toggle... would be functional, and nice to show off the engine after dark.
