hood issues

so my factory hood will not fit on my 98 cobra because I have an 01 intake with an 01 cold air intake setup what hood will work for this or what can I do to use my factory hood?

Buy an HO Fibertrends 96-98 Cobra fiberglass hood. Looks like OEM, with a 1" higher cowl. I run one on my 98.
Edit: After checking their site, looks like it's no longer made.

Do you have the 01 intake tube bc my 98 oem hood hits the screw on the inserts and won't close bc the 01 tube is taller

I run a 1/2" plenum spacer, that about it as far as clearance would go. I assume an extra inch would take care of your issue though.

Most most come in white gel coat when you buy them, that should but you some time til you paint it

I'm talking abt hood spacers to get my hood to clear my intake tube


Not sure where you'd expect to put a spacer on a hood. It would never line up with the fenders/cowl.
You can't just cut away a small area of the underside of the OEM hood?
