Hood Blankie

I saw on here a while back that someone painted his/her hood blankie gloss black with yellow letters. What kind of paint did you use and how do you take the blankie out without tearing it up?? thanks for any help, Aaron

Do a search for "hood mod paint" I believe it was T3 Cobras yellow car that had the painted liner you are talking about.

It's held on by the little plastic push tabs. Just wiggle them out, I did mine by hand. There's also a ground strap next to the pass. side hinge (8mm I think)
