UGH you guys are KILLING ME ,Ive been trying to lay of buying gear but reading this thread is making it hard !
Don't look at the sales Crutchfield is having or you'll be in the same boat as me. lol

@BrunotheBoxer - I have an installer coming out next week for a quote and unsolicited he spoke at length about the Sonos equipment. He gave their new, top of the line stuff some very high praise, and this is coming from a guy whose least expensive tower speakers are $2100. His feedback makes me think you AND the wife will be very happy if you decide to go that route.

Well ****…my highs went out on one of my old school Boston acoustics the other day. Looks like klipsch the nines, technics turntable, and the new denon I already have for the living room, and new 8000 floor speakers for the drum room.

Merry Christmas to me!

If you know any first responders, if they are verified through id.me Sonos gives 15% off. I used it to outfit my buddies house.

More sub is better in my experience, and you just have to accept the size. I went with a Power Sound Audio TV21 IPAL.
My wife was pissed when it showed up, but has grown to love it. It sits next to the couch, and after a while you don’t really notice it.

I bet that's a great sub. I have their ported 15" and it's fantastic. If I ever upgrade my speaker system, there is no way I'm going with a Klipsch, Polk, ect. There is just way to much value in the mid sized / smaller companies. PSA being a great example.

I run Klipsch "The Nines" and a 12" Klipsch sub. All are self powered and bluetooth. These are MONSTER speakers but not cheap at $1500 but they do it all. Tons of hook ups and tons of bass.

Do you have a sub with these?

Which one is Bluetooth? I see 4-5 different powered ones but no bluetooth.
I'll look but I've had it like 4 years ago.

So I have this one...between The Nines and this I have the bass turned way down on both. This isn't a special sub or anything but it puts in work and easy to connect.

I bet it sounds great. I love my Klipsch 10" sub. My friend is a true audiophile and his advice has always been, "every system can benefit from good, clean bass." Mine is a wired one though. I think it's 800w. It's been about 8 years since I bought it. At my old house I had some old used Klipsch's with 15's that were bought in Spain in the early 80's, not sure of the model.

Shit just got real for me. These threads are hazardous to my finances.

On order as of this morning:
75" Bravia 7
Denon AVR-X3800H
Klipsch RP-8000F, RP-500C, RP-500SA (2 pairs), and a SPL-120

And a pair of Definitive Technology AW5500's for outside on the lanai.

The sale at Crutchfield was too good to pass up. Saved over $3k.
Those def tech outdoors are great. I have the 6500’s

Yeah, I called them. They have a special adapter that makes it Bluetooth. Ordered.
