Since it happened on work property, see if your boss can mediate to prevent any animosity. Don't hide anything, just come right out and tell him that you know he hit your car, and that you need to work out a way to get it repaired. If he has any insurance at all, your uninsured insurance won't do anything- especially without a police report at the time of the incident (been there, unfortunately). That means, get a report done TODAY. Do you have underinsured insurance? Sad that we even need it in this day and age, but I'm living proof that situations happen where not having underinsured coverage can nearly ruin you when one worthless asshole ruins your day. Also, don't forget to pursue loss of value with the insurance company. After my wife's nasty car accident in April 2017, she got a brand new F150 (on our dime, after losses). 5 months later, some dolt crossed the line and whacked her head on in September 2017, causing front end damage to the F150. The other guy, who was actually insured sufficiently unlike the POS scumbag in April, had State Farm. SF not only covered all repairs, but also credited us an agreed upon cost degradation. They were so good to work with that we actually changed insurance to them after the incident.
