thanks man. I really think the bolt worked loose because of the snout breaking. Same with the lash of the chain causing the valve cover to rip. We shall see. I already looked at the cams. They resemble stock to means markings look stock. Brenspeed even told me the cams they put in would certainly be noticeable chops I am not that guy that posts a video and ghosts. Its pretty apparent I am extremely active in the community as I am usually on most posts on here and creating posts regularly. I'd like to think I provide alot to every community I am part of. Just because there are a few know it all's doesn't mean i am not allowed to post. Honestly, I have been posting less because of people like that. Again, not sure if you read everything yet. I don’t care what other people do. It makes me sleep better at night bore scoping and looking at plugs because atleast that tells me if there are holes in my pistons and how bad to expect. Not sure why you guys are so damn worried about why I am spending extra time looking over MY car? The motor will be pulled and it will be looked over obviously. I am doing what I can do in the comfort of my own home and immediate actions I can take to make a game plan. This is gonna be a year long rebuild, so some immediate gratification helps me sleep better at night. Again, for people that do not understand diagnosing a problem and forming a budget and battle plan, that is what non wealthy DIY people do. Not everyone can or wants to just write a blank check and have a shop pickup their car to do the work for them. I posted the video within 2 hours of this happening. Cut me some slack. Hopefully this post gets people thinking about crank snouts and maybe learn more about the issue before theirs possibly breaks and they are stuck with a trashed motor.
