Okay let me start by saying this was a HORRIBLE accident and a woman and her dog burned to death because this knucklehead had way too much to drink at Top Golf in Vegas and then drove his C8 through the streets at 158MPH! They said the airbags deployed at 127MPH so at least he started to brake. He's a dumbass and has completely ruined his career and life and I have little sympathy. With that all said... what a remarkable testament to the structural rigidity of the new C8 chassis. Even without any engine up front the interior cabin was not penetrated in this collision. What is even more impressive is this video taken directly after the crash. Ruggs and his lady friend are sitting behind the C8 on the road crying... but listen to the background audio!!!!!! Hear that? That GM LT2 is still running and idling just a smoothly as it did when he drove it off the showroom floor. That's GM quality right there I tell ya! :ROFLMAO:
