So my brother and I finally started the process of swapping my ported eaton to the 2.3 VMP blower I have had sitting in my closet since February. But as usual, we ran into some problems. Not with blower but with the dragon tb and plenum. So since I have VMP's plenum, I have to use the IAC location on the side of the plenum rather than the location underneath the throttle body due to clearance of the IAC. This is fine with me since the person I bought the parts from gave me the adapter plate that I can use to use the side location. However, this creates two issues; one is that there is no way i am going to be able to connect the throttle position sensor plug since it is right next to the IAC fitting (see pictures below). I assume I can't just turn the throttle position sensor so that connector is facing the other way, or can I? This leads me to my second issue, where the heck is the fitting coming off the IAC adapter supposed to plug into? Am I going to have to drill a hole in my intake or is there a part I am missing? I have provided pics below to show some of the issues as well as the progress we made. We didn't want to spend the whole day working on the car since we wanted to take the boat out and do some fishing since we both had the day off. We are so close to getting this done and then moving on to tuning. Can't wait to see what a difference the new blower makes!
