Help with SCT X4

All,

My device said it needed updated so before I loaded a new tune on my 2008 GT500 I restored the stock tune and set about to update the tuner. I had to download their new device updater and everything went ok for a few minutes- it started to update and theandn, all the sudden I get this message "device comm error - unable to establish communication. make sure the device is operating with proper firmware"

I watched an SVT youtube on how to reset the drivers and it says its up to date but the computer nwill not longer recognize the tuner and i keep getting the above referenced eroor message

I had to play around with my X3 for a min to get it to work. You have to put it in update mode which is done by holding a button for a few seconds while you plug the USB in. Not sure which button it will be on yours.

Maybe check that out. These things can be a little finicky. Tech support has always been quick and helpful when Ive called.

^ agreed, I would just call SCT tech support. They're in FL. Try to call early, I have waited for nearly 3 hours on hold before.
