if yo uare looking for cheap stay with either a 275/40/17 or a 285/40/17 the 285 will fit the rim better

The 275's or 285's would work on the 10.5" wheel you have. They might look a little narrow depending on the tire you select. Cost wise you are going to save the most money on the 275's but performance wise we would suggest something wider, as said above you will be much happier with a bigger footprint.

I'm in the same situation. I'm looking to replace the 285/40 GSD3s I have on my 10.5s right now. It just seems that the selection is really lacking..?

I had my heart set on some Nitto 555s. This is my DD, and I don't want to by scared for my life every time it rains (thus- no DRs).

What tire can I buy without having to buy spacers, while still leaving a nice 'footprint'?

BTW, I've got the MM Low profile bolts for the IRS.

thanks
Rob
