Hey SVTP,
I'm finally tackling my fuel system.
I have a Glenn's Performance Custom 22 Gallon Sumped Tank
-10 Suction Line
-10 Feed Line
-8 Return Line

My question is: Do I use the OEM Vent on top of the tank?
The OEM Vent Valve is tiny!! The hole is no bigger than a Q-Tip.
Is this really the only Vent this tank has?
I'm going to be around 600-700rwhp.
Thanks
Rob

you my friend are in luck as I've already had to tackle this issue first hand. no- the stock vent and evap is not adequate imo and will give you problems when summer time comes. So I used a filtered roll over valve instead-
here's a pic of the roll over valve

pulled the tank to install the valve where the pickup used to be

installed and fit perfectly when installed in the car

the filter is under the red cap and keeps dust out, however others have used a roll over valve with fuel line coiled up and a K&N valve cover filter on the end of it.

Thx for the reply. I'm not using a stock tank. I have a custom 22 gallon tank so I would have to drill a hole. Doesn't that valve cause a bad gas smell in the garage?
What is everyone else doing with Glenn's Fuel systems?

post pics of the tank then so I can see. and I don't smell gas in my garage- you do what you gotta do when you have a large fuel system on a street car. drag cars are a different ball game. driving over hot asphalt in the summer is going to necessitate a proper vent. and my tank is a glen's sumped 16 gal

According to Glenn, I don't need a bigger vent. The stock vent works just fine despite how small it is. He says he has hundreds of systems with 2-3 Walbro pumps and A1000 setups with no problems.
The problem that I have with a Tip Over Valve or vent to atmosphere valve is, I don't want my garage to smell like fuel.
