Ok guys, I just got back from Mustang week. Encountered my first problem my cobra has had since I have owned it. drove 8 hours to MB no problems....Then drag day at darlington drove to the track made 5 or 6 passes, then back to the beach, sitting in traffic as well. So Car was warm.
turned car off and then would not start back up,,,,Just clicking noise... lights were strong ... Car bump started right up.....next morning....Positive terminal was little loose tightened it up , Car started up fine the rest of the week. Made the 8 hours home today. Stopped for gas and Car did the same thing ...Just clicked when attempting too start. ...Bump started and off i went.....I got home let car cool down a few hours and started right up....Just wanted to know if anybody had this problem . i want to think Starter is going bad or just overheated and possibly swelling. IDK. Figured i pick some brains on here ...Thanks Mike
