Help me understand what this is?

I am running a fore L2 return setup and I am in the passenger side of the car under the fender is this box with lines hooked in with fuel line can someone tell me if I can delete it or what its function is??? Thanks for inputs

Would I just use the vacuum pieces and remove the fuel lines from it since I am doing the fore L2 return kit?

No fuel goes through there.
