I need suggestions: I had a 1993 Cobra that I bought new and then sold after 2 years of owning it. (It was a Dealer trade) It only had 12,000 miles on it and was wondering if anybody knew how to use the VIN# to see who the current owner is? I live in Michigan, any help would greatly be appreciated. Thanx for any INFO. PS. Because it was a Dealer Trade-in I still have ALL of the documentation plus the sales brochures including all my paper work when I bought it.

Try calling 1-800-FORDSVT. I don't know if they will tell you, but it is worth the shot.
If you have a Carfax account, you might be able to find the last DOT record and at least give you a starting point. Probably not much help though.

Contact your local tag office and give them the VIN. I did that several years ago and was able to locate one of my previous cars.
