I had a 7.3 powerstroke, It got about 12-14mpg in the city and about 18-19mpg on the highway. It did have a tuner, exhaust and bigger tires but before that it was maybe about 2mpg better overall.

Dont believe clowns that come in this thread and they tell you how they get 27mpg, with 37" tires, towing a 14,000lb trailer. That only exists if God and Jesus himself are invisibly pushing the load from the back.

I managed 23 interstate only when I had 33's.

But now with 35's I'll get around 16-18 going back and forth between work.

I have an 04 F350, 6-leaker, auto, crewcab, long bed, leveled on 35's.
Mods: Zoodad, straight exhaust, custom tuned via SCT, studs, reg return fuel, and egr delete.

06 crew cab short bed 4x4 6.0. I get 14.2-14.4 city driving. and 17.8 on the highway at 75-80 avg speed. Truck has factory 20's 3.73's 03 turbo Innovative Diesel extreme street tune, egr delete and exhaust/intake upgrades. I run everywhere and even tow my 9k toyhauler with the extreme street tune. Average 9-10 towing at 70-80

2006 Crew cab F250 Lariat 4x4 6.0 stroke. Haven't really sat and figured what I get mileage wise but I believe around 14-15 in town. Haven't had it but a month or so. I have a SCT XCal 2 from my Lightning that was reprogrammed for the F250. And the Zoodad mod.
EGR delete, exhaust, 2.5" lift and tires, are all I want to do to it.
I absolutely love this thing. I'm not use to having so much room. Plus I love hearing the turbo. It is loud as hell.

Cool. Things go over your head a lot dont they?

It's sad that the F250s get better gas mileage than my little Ranger :(

Dad's 2005 6.0 4x4 LB CC with about 60,000 miles gets 14-15 and 10-11 towing an 8,000lb trailer. It's stock except for SCT XCal 2 on race setting.

I have been getting 15.8mpg average and have seen 20mpg average on long highway trips (during the summer driving 70mph tops).

Truck is 08 F250 CC 6.4 diesel 4x4 w/3.73 rear and 20inch wheels. Currently has 28,xxx miles.

I towed our 8000lb boat from Savannah GA to Chambersburg PA and got 12.5mpg at 60mph average.

I hope this helps.

I just picked up a left over 2009 F250 with 5.4. Averaging about 12.5 in town, and 14.5 on the highway. Truck just hit 700 miles. This is with 600 lbs. of bagged rock salt in the bed. I am driving to conserve fuel too, so that helps. In my experience with this motor that is about as good as it gets. Truck is a 4x4 regular cab.
