So tax return season is upon us and I want to finally get a new bigger blower. My ultimate goal is 750-800 rwhp without dipping into the engine internals. I'm stuck between the gen 3 2.9 Whipple and the gen 3 vmp. I really want the Whipple based on looks and displacement but the new vmp blower has the sound and the torque #'s even though I hate the way it looks. I assume the vmp sounds louder due to being spun harder than the whipple which has me concerned about the heat produced by the vmp. I drive my car daily in Texas heat and I'd have serious buyers remorse if I have issues cooling it. I do have a killer chiller installed to combat excessive heat but would like to minimize heat as much as possible. Also I plan to install a 15% lower since I have the stock boat anchor still on. Which blower would you choose? Sent from my PURE XL using the svtperformance.com mobile app
