Nice of you to think of this.

The amount of little kids that go through this stuff is unimaginable until you spend some time at a childrens hospital in the cancer dept. So many unnamed or undiagnosed diseases too.

Thanks for posting this. My famuly and I sent a card out for this young man this even. It breaks my heart to see this stuff. As a father, I can only imagine the nightmare this family is facing.

FlahDah man.
Guys send a card and make Jacob's last Christmas a Christmas from the heart!

His story stole our family's heart. My 6yo and her bestie sent cards out today. They are artsy fartsy girls so they did their artwork on existing cards. They sent pics to cheer him up too. My son wants to finish his up after school today. Act fast please and do not hesitate to share.

The dads and moms out there sometimes forget what an incredible duty and responsibility to raise our children. I could not imagine the pain of slowly losing my babies to the dreadful disease of a cancer.

Cherish the fingerprints they leave in your TV and glass doors. Smile the next time you step on a leggo piece. Before telling them to shut up, listen to what they were saying. And never let you last words to them be hurtful.

(NEWS CENTER)-- Jacob Thompson was diagnosed with Stage 4 High Risk Neuroblastoma in February of 2014 when he was just 5 years old. Amazingly, Jacob is now 9, but the family says his time is limited, he won't be leaving the hospital, he will be having one more Christmas.

"Jacob loves Christmas" said his father Roger Guay.

Next weekend, Jacob Thompson and his family will have Christmas. His hospital room will be decorated with a tree and lights, and some fake snow and of course, Santa Claus will be there. Like any 9 year old boy he wants presents, and cards from his family and friends, he also would love some love from anyone who feels inspired to reach out.

If you are interested in sending Jacob a Christmas Card, please send them to him at Maine Medical Center.
