Ford should offer the GT500 motor in everything too. Suddenly makes everything cool
If that were revealed any other day than today, I'd be excited. But meh, I'll wait for more sources...
I’d get that over the GC Trackhawk.
I don’t see this being true. Besides they seem busy gearing up for the Ram TRX
It was actually posted yesterday.
It’s just a slightly stretched Grand Cherokee chassis.
So not a big jump from Trackhawk.
Durango SRT Hellcat should have always been a plan.
Man, FCA is getting it's money's worth out of that Hellcat engine!
Me and the wife enjoy the hell out of our '18 Durango GT4 (4 = AWD).
I've been trying to convince the wife that next trade-in cycle, we should get the SRT (traded in a '14 Durango Limited for the GT). Might have to upgrade those plans...
It's starting to get old. All the new Challenger modela are cool, but what more are you going to get with a Hellcat Durango that you dont get with the Cherokee? Anything with 700hp is going to be cool but from a creative standpoint they are starting to release the same thing with just a different exterior design.
That Youtuber is so full of shit. All his videos are about FCA rumers that he claims are true, but has no real proof.
He needs views to make money, so he conjures up this bullshit hoping people will subscibe to his channel.
This is him back when he sold colored lugnut covers. Now he knows every move FCA makes even before they do. lol
I will admit bias, but I personally think GCs aren't that good looking especially compared to Durangos. Not to mention the Durango has a crap-TON more space as well. (Three-row vs two-row.)
Exactly. It's not like the Durango is another 5 seater SUV. Some people actually need that 3rd row and this will appeal to those people specifically.
Sit more people but trade off of storage in back if 3 rows are used.
Dodge is milking it, but I have no issues with this type of milking when it involves a supercharger, stupid amounts of horsepower and AWD(making the power usable).
They got the beefed up drivetrain from the GC, might as well share the goods to the Durango to get more money.
I would much rather have an SRT Durango than an SRT Jeep. Hellcatting both and i'd still rather have the Durango.
Remember that time Chevy put SS badges on everything?
Good lord lol
Maybe I'm biased because I own a GC but I'd rather have the track hawk
Just dodge doing more things Ford doesn't have the balls to do
Wow, didn't know that.
So,....those rumors are not true, I take it?
It's not just that YT'er.
He only "broke" it early, as per what he said.
The new stuff is from Mopar Insiders, and they're pretty connected: We Look At The Future Of The Dodge Durango: HELLCAT-Power? - Mopar Insiders
