Heat extraction hood recommendations

Anyone have input on which tiger racing style heat extraction hood to go with for the 99-04 mustang? I am looking at the Griggs and the Chicane23 in fiberglass at this time. The Griggs is significantly less cost than the Chicane23, but I don’t shop by price alone when it comes to my mustangs. I haven’t found any others, if you have other recommendations, please throw them out there too.

I think that Chicane23 hood is a copy of the Tiger Racing hood from a few years ago. I remember it was a HUGE underhood temp reduction on the S197 cars and they made them in Fiberglass or Carbon. They did have problems with the Fiberglass ones cracking though at the hood pin locations.

The carbon one from their site is 14lbs! Wow.

Can you cut the stock hood out and add some Track Spec louvers? That would be a cheaper solution if you dont really care about the weight savings.
