Heads are at machine shop. Any recommendations?

So my cylinder heads are at the machine shop getting redone.

They say all the valve guides are bad and one valve and seat is bad.
They are also going to resurface them.

Is there a certain brand or type of valve guides/valve seats/valves I should upgrade to?

What about porting? Is it worth while?

Any tips about this process are appreciated .
Motor is going back together with custom cams and a 9.8:1 short block. Stock eating on top for now

Get all new exhaust seats.

I just had my long block rebuilt. I ordered through Modular head shop.
Modular Head Shop
My machinist said it was all quality stuff.
