Tks. for all the input. My tuner says 13/4 unless I run a blower. Went with 1 3/4.

u did good with 1 3/4. i have stainless 1 7/8 and it is tight from frame all way down to the A arm mount .i had to grind down that lip on half of it to not let it touch.nice headers and great sound but big tubes.

Okay, so I understand this right, You installed the Kook's 1⅞ and it was a tight fit; You had to grind some of the lip off the A-arm so it would not touch it? What year is your Stang?

Oh okay.
Kooks are mid-length for 2012 I guess. I have Kooks LT headers on my 03 and I am to understand that Kooks are offering LT for the 2015.
