my SHO is giving me some trouble. the throttle is not very responsive(sometimes), and then sometimes it just cuts out like it is missing or working on less cylinders. i had thought that it was just a motor mount problem and the movement messed it up, but i replaced that and it's still happening. any ideas what it could be?

surprisingly it wasn't the TPS like i thought it was. the MAF needed to be cleaned lol. so even after i changed my TPS(and the whole throttle body) it still didn't fix it and i got that cleaned and it's running great again. all that work for something simple lol

I thought the TPS usually affects the shifting of the car. The TPS on mine went bad and the shifting of the car was really screwed up.

The TPS will cause alot of weird stuff to happen when it goes bad.

yeah i also heard of an easy mod on the ford explorers,
that if you adjust your TPS with some kind of volt meter you can get better throttle response:shrug:
