Happy new year everyone. 2020 wasn't all bad for me and my immediate family. Some of my extended family lost their minds over the covid situation. Because I have someone in my house who is genuinely high risk I have had to be more careful than I think I really need to be. Other than that it was a good year, I got an amazingly easy new job (same field) with a big raise and a benefits package I didn't think existed anymore. I am now paying half of what I was for medical with free dental and vision, health club reimbursement (can be used for BJJ!) and I can barrow heavy equipment of all things. All of my coworkers are easy going down to earth people and my boss is level headed. The only pressure in my new job is from what I place on myself which is very little. I just have standards for myself in regards to how much and how soon I need to learn things. For those of you that got rail roaded this past year I hope you're able to turn things around.
