Hand Tuner Question?

If i use a hand tuner to tune the mach, and say later on down the road i have a problem and have to take it to the dealer, (car is under warranty) would ford be able to pick up i had a tune done to the car?

I've heard that if you return it to stock you'll be ok. Don't quote me on that. My warranty didn't last very long on my car.

From what I know, they don't usually look. My buddy had his 04 dyno tuned and blew the motor, went to a Ford dealership with his extended warranty, and got a new motor. He even asked the guy whether or not they could check it and he said "We don't have the equipment to see read that kind of stuff".

Bottom line, I think it depends on what dealership you go to, or even what warranty company you use if you have an extended warranty.
